What is Kombucha Tea?
Kombucha is a fermented tea with a sour, tangy flavor containing little sugar or alcohol, and that is full of probiotics. It starts as steeped green and black tea, and through “culturing” over time it becomes a tart and slightly effervescent health
drink. This process and its benefits resemble other cultured foods such as yogurt, sauerkraut, or vinegars. Kombucha has been known as a health elixir for thousands of years, but it is also a tasty beverage many people drink for the flavor alone!
What is KANbucha Tea?
KANbucha is the combination of Kansas and kombucha. It’s made locally in Lawrence, Kansas! This equals fresher quality nutrition and more support for our communities and region.
Our small batches are made at a KDA licensed commercial kitchen, fermented in glass vessels for long brew cycles, only all organic ingredients and brewing organic teas from Hugo Tea Company (KC). Seven different flavors are now available ranging from traditional flavors like Ginger, to the sweet side like Grape, and to the artisan crafted like Om Tree. Each flavor benefits many different taste buds!
